CONFIDENTIAL PRESENTATION Beiswenger and Associates, Inc.
Kim A. Beiswenger Beiswenger and Associates, Inc., has been a Product Research Engineering company for over 40 years, and has completed more than 50 projects for client manufacturers. A few are shown below. We study both growing markets and fading markets (both contain opportunities). We determine where the markets can and should be heading, then we propose to a client a new product, technology or business opportunity. Seventy percent of our business comes this way; the rest through referals. |

![]() Self-maintaining, special purpose scanner with one button operation. The machine was used as a telehealth device to take hand written health data from elderly patients in their homes and automatically forward the data to a remote computer using OCR. Patents issued in U.S., Europe, China and Canada. |
![]() Touch-screen alarm clock with three color LCD display. The LCD can see your finger. To change the time, you just touch the numeral you want to change. Complete product cost just $6 in a display carton. Two issued patents resulted. A version of this technology is available through Beiswenger and Associates. |
![]() All-new electric-convection barbecue grill, with highly competitive features, for a large gas grill manufacturer. Grill produced a better barbecue flavor than the client's gas grill and cooked an eight-pound chicken in 38 minutes, so juicy there was a suggestion the user should be warned about "spilling the chicken" when it was removed from the grill. |
![]() Provided CAD design and solid modeling of a complete line of boat navigation lights and acoustic horn, working with an engineering physicist. The lights were the "best-ever-tested" by Coast Guard. The two-mile lights were visible at four miles. Lens segments were ultrasonically welded together. |
And, we did Product Research Engineering for many other clients, to name a few.

Home Time System. Does your home have an analog wall clock in the living room, family room or some other place in your home? Most homes do. The market for wall clocks is quite large. Wall clocks come in a wide range of styles, sizes, and designs, as shown on the right. They can enhance a room’s decor. Many wall clocks are designed principally with aesthetic appeal in mind, functioning both as a central timekeeping device and a piece of art. But what else can this central timekeeping device in our homes do for us, we asked ourselves? |

Convention. We quickly learned the consumer has made it clear where analog and digital clocks belong; analog in the living quarters and digital in the bedrooms. How can we interface the two to the advantage of the consumer? Considering the latest in display technology, we found a very beneficial way. We will start our presentation with a new wall clock employing the latest display technology. However, do not lock in on the appearance of any product I show you. This is strictly a product research engineering presentation. The appearance of the products will no doubt change and improve. |

Basic Wall Clock Module. This module can be placed in a variety of frames or even offered without a frame. The clock face and hands are produced by a special display technology. You will see what surprising features and benefits this has allowed us to create. We have chosen to place it in the frame you will see in the following slides, used throughout this presentation. |

And so, here it is in a wood frame. Setting the time on the clock is where the easy-to-use magic begins. Let’s say it is 7:20 PM when you check your watch or cell phone for the time. To set the time on the new clock, you first just touch the face of the clock. |
![]() |
The clock controls will appear. You will then touch and move the hour hand to 7, touch and move the minute hand to 4, then touch PM. Done. There is no knob on the back with which to rotate the hands around the clock dial to the correct time. |

The clock is now set to 7:20 PM and will be locked in on the time set. If your location receives the Atomic Clock transmission from Colorado, it will automatically adjust the time set to the Atomic clock. No need to first select the time zone. The wall clock, as presented thus far, could be sold as a stand-alone product. Now, what about the Home Time System bedside alarm clocks you purchased with the wall clock? Touch the face of the clock . . . |
![]() |
. . . and the clock controls will reappear. |
![]() |
Synchronized Home Timekeeping Plug in the alarm clocks, at the desired locations, and touch A and B simultaneously on the wall clock. |
![]() |
Both are paired and set to match the wall clock time. The entire home now has the same exact time. What about the alarm setting? You touch the face again for the controls. |
![]() |
To set alarm clock A to sound at 7:00 AM, touch A, then move the minute hand to 12:00 and . . . |
![]() |
. . . touch AM. Alarm clock A is set to sound at 7:00 AM. There are no buttons on the alarm clocks to bother with. |
![]() |
After setting, all clocks return then to the current time. What if a power failure occurs? When the power is restored, the battery-operated wall clock will automatically reset the time and alarm settings on both bedside alarm clocks. Now another surprising feature. Perhaps you read: "A surge in cases of the flu-like human metapneumovirus (HMPV) in China has raised fears of another Covid-style pandemic" BBC. Worrisome? |

Solution You can purchase and apply a comfortable, non-invasive, accurate, wireless thermometer by GreenTEG's CALERA® Research (just as the woman is doing on the right). After pairing the device with your Home Time System, your Bedside Alarm Clock will be able to monitor your Circadian Rhythm temperature cycle. As long as you wear the wireless, rechargeable thermometer, there is nothing more for you to do. |

At the time you have set the alarm to wake you in the morning, the alarm clock display may tell you to call your healthcare provider for a televisit or an office visit because, even though you feel well at the moment, you have acquired a contagion. When the CALL sign does NOT appear, that will give you peace of mind. Does this technology exist and has it been tested? Yes, and we have done Research Studies at: |

And here is another feature of the Home Time System you will enjoy. You can (will be able to) go to your cell phone App store and click on HTS, the Home Time Systems' App. Then touch A and B simultaneously on the wall clock. The Clock and your cell phone are now paired. |
![]() |
As a result, you can easily upload a photo from your phone to be displayed on your Home Time Systems wall clock, or . . . |
![]() |
. . . add artwork a family member has created or . . . |
![]() |
. . . you can even choose an altogether different clock face, several will be available, and . . . |
![]() |
. . . still maintain the uploading features. . . |
![]() |
. . . such as adding a Christmas artwork background. |
![]() |
We are also considering an elongated display and frame, perhaps as a second model of the Home Time System. |
![]() |
In the added space we will tell you the indoor and outdoor temperatures. Touch the face of the clock. |
![]() |
There are the clock controls, and you can see what is on the bedside alarm clocks; the same set time as on the wall clock. Now let's look at the alarm time we set on alarm clock A earlier in the presentation. Touch the letter A . . . |
![]() |
7:00 AM. Let's say you decide to sleep until 7:30 AM tomorrow. Touch the first zero three times. |
![]() |
7:30 AM. Yes, you can set both bedside alarm clocks right from your Home Time System wallclock. Touch the face again . . . |
![]() |
The controls disappear, and you are returned to the temperature readings as before. |
![]() |
All the other features of the Home Time System are still included. |
